SHUR meetings will resume in January and we will have an election of officers at that time.

GARABAGE COLLECTION
On Nov. 17 the Sterling Heights City Council will be discussing going out for bids on a new garbage hauling contract. Four of them claim that they are going to save us big bucks. They are discussing sending out 3 different bids. One of the bids forces us to pay for curb side recycling and containers for both recycling and garbage possibly even a 96 Gallon container. If you have an opinion about this please contact your city council and voice your opinions.
MASTER PLAN
Sterling Heights will be redoing their Master Plan, this will include redoing the Parks and Rec Master Plan, the Land Use Plan and will incorporate the Visioning 2030 plan within it. If you are interested in what is in the works for this city please investigate and contact your city council and voice your opinions.
