Mayor Thom Dionne Biography
With your help, we can make Utica the Crown Jewel of Macomb County. Putting "U" First! My father moved to Utica in 1976 when he gained employment with Ford Motor Company, Sterling Axel Plant. With my siblings, Tracy, Tedd, & Todd, we grew up in Lincoln Meadows Subdivision. I Attended H.H. Wiley Elementary, Eppler Jr. High, Utica High School & St. Lawrence Church. I enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1991 – Served 5 years, Military Intelligence Analyst / Operator – Honorable Discharge. 18 years law enforcement experience and 9 years firefighter. Associates Degree from Macomb Community College. Currently employed with Grosse Pointe Farms Department of Public Safety. Wife Susan, children, Isabella, Faith, Lauren & Adam.
Thom is going to talk about Utica and what he, as the new Mayor, sees for the future of Utica.
